You No Longer Have Permission To Answer Questions, Really?
Censorship, anyone?
So, what's this then?
As any of you who have read many/any of my Hubs has probably realized, I'm kind of sarcastic.
Just a bit.
So, when I've been answering Questions, I've rarely taken them seriously. I just type whatever pops into my head.
If asked a question like, "What are Newt Gingrich's kids names?" My first reaction is, "Really, your Google broke?" My second reaction is to give a list of stupid names. "George Herbert Walker Foreman-Grill Gingrich" and such. Who cares?
Really, how does a question like that matter in the least? Research? Wikipedia, Google, Newtfortzarofallamericas.com. Pick one.
If you have so little sense of humor that you flag someone's answers because you thought they didn't take the question seriously, OK, fine. You've got the problem, not me.
But HubPages, really? I may have made fun of the question. In fact, a couple of my questions have done exactly that. I may have poked a little fun AT the subject, but what did I do other than that?
I did not curse. I did not fling poo (or virtual poo). I did not call the asker's mother's ancestry into question. Nor did mock the person, just the question.
We all ask stupid questions. We all ask questions we think are important, which are stupid.
Don't tell me there is no such thing as a stupid question. I asked, "How high is up?" I actually got some pretty good answers for my inane question.
So, I guess I just have to ask myself stupid questions and mock myself with crazy answers.
But it's not going to be as fun while I'm sitting around waiting for ideas to use for Hubs.
By the way, this is number 50. Go me!
Note: After a couple of days, I could answer questions again! However, the two questions that got moderated are still gone or closed to new answers. Go figure.
